About Pratyangira Homam
Pratyangira Homam is dedicated to Goddess Pratyangira Devi, a protective form of the Divine Mother with a lion's face. Devotees perform it, often on Amavasya, praying for protection from negative energies, enemies and the evil eye. Dried red chillies, ghee and other traditional offerings are made into the fire with the Pratyangira mantras.
